Thank you Karl & Benita for all the great work that you have done with the Progress Association. As incoming President & Secretary we genuinely appreciate your efforts for the district.
You have provided a great foundation for us to continue the progress for our community.
We are very impressed by the quality of the picnic tables that you were able to secure for the hall grounds, and the kitchen benches are going to be a great asset to being able to hire the hall out & keep the Capertee hall alive.
Thank you also Karl for the working bee that you arranged to help clean up Pearson's lookout. That is going to be an awesome tourist attraction when it is completed!
As a result of your efforts for the hall we have organised a working bee for tomorrow (27th May 2014) with the assistance of Stan Stanford and the generous donation from Bob Miller & Greg Brown on behalf of Airly Mine (Centennial Coal) who have provided the formwork, mesh & concrete to set the slabs in place for the picnic tables.
On behalf of the Capertee Progress Association Committee,
Dorothy & Graeme

Pearsons lookout gets new fence
Persons lookout is looking a bit flash with a new black and a recently painted armco railing!
Would be nice to see it all painted and get the lazy people to take their rubbish though!
